Economic Science is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing the frontier of causal inference. We publish high-quality research that embraces methodological diversity to uncover true causal mechanisms within economic systems.

We welcome submissions across all fields of economics that deploy rigorous identification strategies, including but not limited to:

The journal places a premium on open science. Authors are strongly encouraged to pre-register experimental designs and must provide data and code to ensure full computational reproducibility.
